Panorama Photographs for Charity Events
In 2007 I produced a 10 foot photograph named “Bideford Lights”, this I donated to the Mayor of Bideford. I raffled a 3 foot framed print which raised £400 for The Mayor’s named charity fund at the time. A 3 foot copy of the picture was presented to the Mayor of Manteo, North Carolina. The 10 foot version is now hanging in the Bideford Pannier Market Café.
In 2008 I produced a 20 foot photograph of Bideford by day named “A-long Bideford Quay”. An auction was held at the Bideford Pannier Market of the 20 foot framed photograph and some of my other works. Guest appearances were Actor Joss Ackland CBE, TV personality Graham Barton, chief executive of Devon Air Ambulance Helena Holt and local singer Jaden Cornelious. I would like to thank them all for being there. £1500 was raised for Devon Air Ambulance, from the generosity of the general public. I would personally like to thank the Bideford Town Council for if it wasn’t for their kind support this event would not have gone ahead.
In 2009 I produced a 10 foot photograph of Appledore for the Appledore Visual Arts Festival. I was one of many artists to donate work for an auction at St. Mary’s Church in Appledore. The event raised over £4500 for various charities.
I am more than happy to work with charities although it is always dependant on my current schedule.
